Here is Simon Harris TD: "This debate is timely and comes in a week in which parents of autistic children rightly have been outraged, hurt, upset and insulted by ignorant and ill-informed comments in an article that appeared in the national media, of which I am sure many Members are aware, and which effectively attempted to blame parents for making their children autistic. I have never heard such nonsense. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but this sort of sensational comment, made in an effort to engage in self-promotion and nothing else, does irrefutable damage to the years of work undertaken by parents, carers and advocacy groups to try to achieve recognition in the first instance and, second, support and resources for their children with conditions on the autistic spectrum. Replying to bmul again, this time about the school nearby: I believe that it has been established that there is a PARTIAL view from the deck of the observeratory to the school grounds but how much exposure is unstated. It would appear however, too restricted to be a realistic allegation. On the other suggestion by Cooney of spying on courting couples on Killiney beach, my information here is that there is no clear line of sight from the deck to the beach except for a section very near the water. If you feel up to it you could conduct your own investigation with a good pair of binoculars by checking the line of sight from the target area, reverse direction, to the observatory. (The owners of Ashurst House will not allow you to the deck to check from there). But remember this proves nothing in relation to voyersm.

No, I am just a good judge of character and I got to know him enough to assess him. A more objective assessment than Cooney's who never met him at all.

When this couple opened their home to the general public for B&B or bought it for that purpose it was no longer a private home and therefore the law applies
And who gave planning permission for that sign plastered across the house? Wouldn’t “The Bull and Cow” be a better name anyway.

I know that, I was trying to make the point that this couple are expected to deny their cristian beliefs to allow an unmarried couple share a room in their house. PC gone mad.
