Talk about dyed-in-the-wool Republicanism. A Protestant farmer in Co Tyrone got up one morning last week and found his sheep sprayed green, white and orange.
Leaving aside the fact that his sheep are staunch Glasgow Rangers fans, this is an appalling attack on helpless creatures, who have enough to contend with now that Celtic, the baaaaa-tards, are one point clear of the Gers at the top of the Scottish Premier League.
Bizarrely, the first paragraph of a southern newspaper report on the incident linked the attacks to training exercises by dissident Republicans. Who was the source for that angle? Are the Real IRA planning to achieve a United Ireland by spraying sheep – accompanied by hearty verses of:
A Mouflon once again,
A Mouflon once again,
And lreland, long a province, be
A Mouflon once again!
Ewe couldn't make it up.
Unionist politicians have of course described the attack as sectarian and the farmer says that he won't be able to sell the sheep, some of whom look very alluring in their Irish tricolors, until next May when they are shorn of their new found tint.
I don't know about that. I'd say he'd have no problem flogging them around Parkhead. However, I reckon you wouldn't be able to give them away around Ibrox, although they did buy a Catholic black sheep once, in the shape of Mo Johnston.

Oh Bock… now this did make me laugh. But please… do not get me started on any beloved Celtic chat.
By the way… I once stood next to a young Englishman in a bar in London. He was discussing with his pal about which position it was that Bobby Sands played for the Hoops back in the day.
"I've seen the name on flags and shirts" he said, "But I'm fucked if I can remember if he played in defence"
I kid you not.
We will never forget you, Jimmy Sands!!
Congratulations to the cartoonist. Said sheep below. They had been planning to travel to Ibrox
next weekend but have been advised by the PSNI to call off the trip.

Republicans? Why not Offaly supporters?

The Ewe From Arboe has been the source of many a chuckie-chuckle over the last few days though the jury is still out on whether it is a Provo, Real or Conti Sheep!! However, it never seeks to amaze the speed at which Willie Frazer jumped on the cattle trailer with his regular EWE tube update was quite remarkable. In striking contrast, when Mr McDaid was set upon by a pack of sectarian loyalists, unionists quarters including Willie weren’t flocking to put similar efforts into their condemnation.
Therefore, can we conclude that a sheep has more respect than Catholics in some unionist quarters??????

Mind you, I'd never heard of a mouflon before this. I love learning new words. Thanks for that – Seconds Out!!!
You know you folks may have a…well, what can I say…a shitty government that whiles away it's time making up shitty rules you have to put up with but all in all…
…you seem to have a whole lot of fun as well.
Can't see why the painted sheep farmers wouldn't be able to sell the tint-a-pated wool as a novelty items. You know, to tourists?
