I've no doubt, both our teams are very different and I hope we string a performance away at your place as our results on the road have been a bit, (how can I put it ?)… shit. Our home form has been exemplary though. Having lost only once at home in the whole of last season and going unbeaten the season before (although that should be seen in the context of National Division 1) we won't be a pushover when you come visiting, no matter what some may think. If you're coming, I'm sure that you'll be able to get a ticket, what with your contacts and all, but if not, let me know.

By the way, when you say hammered, I'm assuming you mean in the pub, no ?

NO.8 I think Keith's adulation is testament to who his dad is,how he was treated in his own career,and of course where Keith has came from….Absolutely nothing wrong with making a big deal out of a good news story out of Moyross as there's so very very few of them.Keith has the talent and attitude to go on and be one of the best players ever out of this country.When was the last time we produced a world class back in Limerick? It doesn't take in any way from the achievements or respect to any of the other players in any way whatsoever.Limerick and Munster is equally proud of all of its Lions,it's just that one of them happens to be a particularly good news story in these depressing times.

Limerick should'nt be proud for any rugby player to be capped for the Lions, per se. Given Shannonsides contribution to the evolution of the game it is our natural inheritance, like a knight to sit at the round table at Camelot.

Who's being silly. Keith Earls has gone on a Lions tour at the age of 21 after a dream first season as a pro. Fantastic for him and his family, and yes Limerick is quite rightly proud of him. Other Limerick men have gone before without the adulation. He has a chance on this tour to become a world star, I hope he does, lets just keep a bit of perspective.

ger earls was a legend but the powers that be fucked him over,too much snobbery in the game for too many years,at least he sees his son making our whole city proud and this must be some small consolation to one of the best players to ever put on a pair of boots.
