Final Battlestar Galactica Episode

Tonight we have the very last Galactica episode ever.

What will it reveal? What will the outcome be?

It seems to me that there are too many unanswered questions to deal with in a single episode, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe this will be the dénouement we've all waited for.

Maybe it will all make sense.

Throughout this entire thing, the only constant for me has been Kara Thrace. I'm depending on Kara to wrap it all up for me. Don't let me down, Starbuck!

BOCK, TV don't do dénouement. TV does what makes a profit. It's a TV thing.

  2.

Jeri Ryan (god bless her) arrives and tells them that resistenct is futile.

  3.

If she arrived at my door and told me that resistence was futile I wouldn't offer any.

  4.

Frak off, I saw her first.

Kara Thrace is the most annoying bint to befoul television screens since Lisa Simpson.

I really dont see the attraction. You might as well be riding an angry bloke with a fanny who punches you in the head just when you are about to tip over the point of no return, then she'll fart and kick you out of bed to fix her a drink and tip cigar ash all over your bed sheets.

If you can imagine Riding Arnie in the 1980's, only blonde and a bit more obnoxious.

    There you go.

  6.

But Doctor, I didn't say there was an attraction. I said Kara was the only constant in the whole thing.

Ah right. I am just so used to hearing people I know bleat on about her. Plus she grates on me. I dont know why. The episodes centered around her have been my least favourate. Particularly the one where herself and Lee Adama were in a boxing match.

The finale does answer a lot of questions but it does suffer from pacing a bit. Having the first forty minutes lopped off was a mistake (in fairness the writers always saw the finale as one three hour long episode rather than it being split up into two parts).

    Nerds.

Dr O — Funny. For me that was one of the better episodes. Just goes to show, there's something for everyone in it.

Mark — I'll just have to wait and see. Not be missed anyway.

    Julio — Grouch

    Why are they ending it?

  12.

    They ran out of sweat.

  13.

Because people would get sick of it if it went on for ever. Let it conclude on a high and go into the annals of TV history rather than just being cancelled because no one watches it anymore.

Best way to do it in my humble opinion. I'm still watching Lost despite the fact that I started to hate it about two episodes in.

Who jerked off in my coffee? as the XO might say. I saw it Sunday and well…sure we can talk about it later.

Think they always said they'd do it in four series, just so they didn't stretch it too much. Looking forward to seeing how they wrap this up!

Saw it last Friday. I wasn't disappointed. But you're such an ornery bastard, can't say how you will like it. So say we all!

I thought it was great. The space battle was just brilliant, as was Tyrol's reaction when he found out who had topped his wife.

I'm deligted with the way it wrapped up.

It was a great ending to a great series.

Who would have thought such a silk purse could have been made out of the sow's ear that was the original show.

I am glad it went out on a high

The origional music when Galactica was passing off into the sunset brought a manly tear to my eye.

In my opinion, all the series was short was a nightclub scene with seventies futuristic disco music playing in the background ala Buck Rogers on an especially cheesy day.
