If anybody has any money to invest, do not put it into Irish Life & Permanent's Protected Consensus Fund. Your money will be mismanaged. You will be promised the sun, moon & stars. You should seek independent financial advice. Irish Life will take you to the cleaners. You will be tied up for 6 years & all you will get at the end of that period is your original sum invested. I myself, who live alone & suffer from a nervous disposition, was roped in & taken advantage of. It is my opinion now that they are scum.
