Reinforce it with the thin metal rods they use on every building site, Bock. They will strengthen it and will hardly be noticable if you cover them with matching fabric. The cost will be minimal and it should be strong enough to withstand gale force winds.

I have a dozen or so spare ones in my van… here.. catch!

Its as well to buy the proper stuff in the beginning as the cheap stuff isn't up to it and ends up costing more. I had a experience with satellite dish with the dish and the box had to be replaced in no time.

If you go down to Stradbally on the Monday after EP, you should be able to get yourself several perfectly fine gazebos… we did last year.
