Darwin played a mean bass in a little 3 piece combo with me in San Francisco some time back. Before the IRS, the Mob and the religious right had him turfed out of the country. Twas he that convinced me that using a charango on a recording would be a good thing. I still have some recordings of us nestling on my hard drive. For all his affability he has a evil streak - I've heard him playing Toto's "Africa". Bock seems like we have friends in common.
